FM Central – Fleet maintenance software
FM-Central is a cloud-based solution that provides seamless connectivity between multiple Fleetminder implementations.
FM-Central provides the ability for a fleet owner or operator to hold a complete history of all workshop activity that is carried out on its vehicles, irrespective of whether this is done in the company’s own workshop(s) or in third-party workshops.
It is a pre-requisite of FM-Central deployment that both the fleet owner / operator and its third-party maintenance partner(s) all use Fleetminders’ fleet maintenance and workshop management software.
With FM-Central, a fleet operator creates a job card and a purchase order for an authorised third-party garage. This identifies the jobcard to Fleetminder as an FM-Central job card and routes it to FM-Central for onward delivery to the third-party garage.
When the job is completed, the jobcard is then routed back to FM-Central for onward delivery to the fleet operator, where the PO is signed off and closed, the job card invoice is signed off and closed, making for a completely paperless transaction.
The vehicle history on the database held by the fleet operator is updated with all maintenance and repair activity.
